Just One Last Thing

About the stories...they aren't working are they? That's fine! Totally fine! Oh, and one last thing (well two things actually):

1. This is a really short post :(

2. I am going to change my URL to 1writersj0urney.blogspot.com
So be prepared for the change!

Love as Always,

Erin

Apologies

I'm am terribly sorry that it has been a while since I last posted. I've been busy with 2 honors classes, one regular class, and Marching Band (which is going spectacularly!). As of right now, I've heard hat you can't read the first story, Shattered Wings? I will definately try to fix that. So tonight I have my first actual performance at the Varsity football game, where I am in full uniform. I will try to get some pictures up.

Love,
 Erin

Welcome

So, I decided to update to the next stage in my blogging history. Welcome to One Writer's Journey.

I will take you on the road to writing my books, putting up quotes, excerpts, and yes I will continue with taking the pictures.

I should probably start by saying something: Hi! My name is Erin. Well, I'm 14 years old and I'm a freshman in marching band. I've been writing for about two years now. My first, finished, book: Shattered Wings, is the first book that I'm going to let you read. Then it will be Until the World Ends and then Locked In.

I really do hope that you enjoy my writing. When you've finished it, tell me your favorite parts, characters, quotes! Don't be scared to tell me if I need to change anything. These books are for YOU to read. If you want to be based on a character, I promise I will make that happen.

So welcome to One Writer's Journey. I hope you enjoy the adventure!
P.S. You can find the first story under Writer's Place.

Blackout

Last night we had a blackout during a huge thunderstorm. So instead of lights, we used candles.

Band Camp

Tomorrow I will start one of the biggest things of my life: Band Camp. In order to be in Marching Band you need to attend a camp where they teach you everything about Band. I'm very excited, but still a little bit weary because I could fall flat on my face (you never know what could happen!). So I will be posting as many pictures as I can. Thanks for your support at Lily Petals!

Beaufort

I loved Beaufort, North Carolina because it was such an interesting town. It is the home to the two sunken ships of the notorious pirate Blackbeard: The Queen Anne's Revenge and his small sloop that helped him get away. It is home to many island horses and a lot of boat tours happen along the inlet there. Here are some of the pictures:

Fireworks!

I love fireworks. They always bring me joy to think that people are respecting July 4th. Luckily, I was able to capture some beautiful pictures of the fireworks.

I'm thinking about redesigning for the fall. Any suggestions? Thanks for your support at Lily Petals Photography!

*I almost forgot! I went to Beaufort and I got some pictures. I will put them up later!*

Graduation, South Carolina, and Neverland

So finally, I have been able to upload my pictures! Okay the themes today are Graduation, South Carolina and Neverland. Well, sort of. Neverland is just information on something new coming out. I HIGHLY recommend you checking out the trailer! But anyways, back to the other two.

Part One:
Graduation
I'm just going to tell you something really quickly. When my cousin took these pictures, I didn't notice that he was using my camera until today. Isn't that sad? But he's an amazing photographer. He was told to go around and photograph everyone. Guess what he did? He went around and PHOTOGRAPHED everything! These pictures are from my older sister's graduation.
Here's the photographer!
I really do apologize for the fuzziness in all of the pictures. My camera has been acting up lately but I think it will be fine.
WATERMELON SEED SHOOTING CONTEST!

White roses always are going to be one of the prettiest flowers in the world!

I love this flower. The blue is so pretty. I took these pictures when I went for a walk with my cousin.

I was being crazy that day! What do you expect from a former 8th grader going into high school?

Funny face!

Congrats my sister! I know we didn't have any pictures of her but maybe in the next section we will have some.

Part Two:
Sunny South Carolina

These were supposed to be pelicans but lets just say they are very uncooperative.
Loggerhead Sea Turtle nest! Good Luck turtlings!
DOLPHIN!
Before we got to the bridge. (Btw, we were on a tour boat)
After we got to the bridge

Cobblestones really bring out the texture and history of the old times.

Okay! We are done with the picture part.

Part Three:
Neverland

If you have seen Peter Pan then you will know all about a place called Neverland. But you must have many questions like: How did Peter come to find Neverland? How did he meet the Lost Boys? Where did the Lost Boys come from? Well here is the summary from IMDB for you to read:

Raised on the streets of turn-of-the century London, orphaned Peter and his pals survive by their fearless wits as cunning young pickpockets. Now, they've been rounded up by their mentor Jimmy Hook to snatch a priceless, some believe, magical treasure which transports them to another world. Neverland is a realm of white jungles and legendary mysteries of eternal youth, where unknown friends and enemies snatched from time welcome the new travelers with both excitement and trepidation. These groups include a band of 18th century pirates led by the power-mad Elizabeth Bonny, and the Native American Kaw tribe led by a Holy Man, which has protected the secret of the tree spirits from Bonny and her gang for ages, and that has meant war. But as the fight to save this strange and beautiful world becomes vital, Hook, Peter, and the ragamuffin lost boys consider that growing old somewhere in time could be less important than growing up, right here in their new home called Neverland.
